What Are Dental Implants?

Dental implants are tiny titanium posts that are surgically placed into the jawbone where teeth are missing. Just like the root of a natural tooth, the implant bonds with the jawbone, creating a strong, sturdy foundation for replacement teeth

Once the post is placed, the crown (visible tooth) can be attached to the implant, recreating the natural structure and functionality of the original tooth.

Why Are Dental Implants Better?

Over the years, multiple procedures and prosthetics have been developed to replicate missing teeth, but none have been more successful than Dental Implants.

Dentures and bridges are common due to their low upfront cost but may not be a good value considering maintenance and replacement costs over time. Dental Implants are designed to last a lifetime and provide superior comfort compared to other tooth replacement options.

Patient Review by Doug W for Dr. Moore in Winter Garden

While this was my first visit/consultation appointment to date in this office. I did not hesitate to make my oral surgery appointment based on my overall positive experience during this initial visit. Everyone was very kind and professional and Dr. Antonos was extremely detailed in explaining my condition and next steps to get me back in shape. While I cannot say I am looking forward to my surgery, I do have ever confidence in my decision of having my required work done by this team. Thank you.
